Ms. Scramstad is a member of the Contra Costa County and Alameda County Bar Associations, as well as the Trusts & Estates and Family Law Sections of the State Bar. She volunteers her time at the Contra Costa County Family Law pro per workshops, teaching family law litigants without attorneys how to prepare the legal paperwork to obtain a divorce.
She also accepts appointments by the court to act as Minor’s Counsel, representing children, primarily in family law cases. Ms. Scramstad has lectured on issues of dissolution, domestic violence, and child custody.
In addition to family law matters, she handles trusts & estate matters, including drafting estate plans, trust administration, guardianships, and probate litigation.
